Thank you for previously promoting the Canada-wide survey from Dr. Marie Westby at the Centre for Aging SMART aiming to capture patients’ views on their rehabilitation experiences after elective hip or knee replacement surgery. The investigators had hoped to close the survey by now but have had very low response rates in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Can you help?
This is a UBC ethics approved study [H21-00783]. Investigators are asking people who had a recent hip or knee replacement for osteoarthritis and have completed their supervised rehabilitation to share their experience through this online study. Please spread the word among PT colleagues, especially those who treat patients after TJR surgery. Put up posters in your clinics or outpatient departments, local coffee shops, libraries or community centres! The ‘snowball’ method can be a powerful recruitment strategy!
Attached are posters for both the English and French language surveys. Survey links and QR codes provided.
Thank you for supporting research and making sure we truly capture a Canada-wide perspective!
